Prediction log
Every forecast, dated and reviewed
A forecast is written down before the event, with a confidence level and a review date. At review it is scored with the client. The record stands whether the forecast held or not.
Reference
A number assigned at intake. No name appears.
Logged
The date the forecast was written down.
Confidence
High, medium or low, stated at the time.
Review
The date the outcome is checked with the client.
Status
Open until review. Then met, partly met or not met.
The first entries publish here once their review dates have passed and the client has agreed to an anonymised record.
Until then the log is kept privately, entry by entry, exactly as it will appear.
Why it is published
A record you can hold the practice to
Advice on a career, a move or an investment is worth only what it produces. The log is how that is measured, openly and over time.
Entries are anonymised and appear only with the client’s consent. Situations are described in general terms, with no names, employers or cities. Clients of an annual advisory review their own entries with me each quarter.
